Hi, friends!

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding affirmations and the power of positive thinking.

Positive affirmations are more than just a Tik Tok trend—they are a powerful tool for transforming your mindset and reshaping your outlook on life. Science has proven that speaking affirmations consistently can shift your brain's focus from negativity to possibility, helping you manifest the change you seek. By verbalizing thoughts of self-worth, strength, and success, you not only encourage positive behavior, but also align your spirit with the fullness of God's promises for your life.

Scripture affirms the power of our words and how they shape our realities. Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, "The power of life and death is in the tongue," illustrating the immense influence our words can have on our lives and those around us. When we speak life, hope, and faith into our situations, we invite transformation. Similarly, Romans 4:17 encourages us to "speak those things that are not as though they were," urging us to declare victory and abundance even before they are visible to our eyes. Our declarations of faith have the power to call things into existence, and in doing so, we partner with God in bringing forth His will.

Affirmations are not just words—they are a declaration of faith and belief in the unseen.

When we speak positive, powerful affirmations, we are exercising our faith in God's ability to turn things around, and in doing so, we invite His divine intervention into our lives. Speak boldly, speak with intention, and speak in alignment with the promises God has already spoken over your life. Even before you see the change, declare it in faith, knowing that your words have the power to shape your reality.

I remember when I was growing up and my daddy would drop me off for school, he would have us repeat the following every morning:

"I am the head and not the tail

I am above and not beneath

I am the lender and not the borrower

I am more than a conqueror"

This daily ritual is Biblical in nature with an excerpt from Deuteronomy 28:13. I was too young to understand how powerful the daily recitation of this was but, it is something that has stuck with me to this day. However you start your day, I urge you to add some type of positive affirmation to it.

Change your mind--change your life!

Remember that you have something the world needs. Remind yourself of this each day.
